We cover the panoptic of salacity and vice in THE city of sin; from tales of the wealthiest pimp in Covent Garden and his secret list, to the author and thief taker, Henry Fielding who fought against the relentless sea of smut. The salacious goings on of the rich and famous will all be brought vividly to life as we take you on a roller-coaster of a journey through historical lewdness! So, hold on to your breeches and powder your wig.

You will hear tales of madames, pimps, esteemed figures, bawdy houses, masquerade balls, opium dens and gin alley. From street walkers offering a “thrupenny upright” to high class courtesans servicing the aristocracy, London was built on the sex trade and everyone indulged – as you may choose to yourself with a glut of gin and an 18th century seduction lesson in a secret drinking den! A happy ending is guaranteed …

From the meeting point at St Paul’s church in Covent Garden, the historical characters will take you around “The Square of Venus” in the local area.

The outdoor theatre section will last approximately 1.5 hours before settling in “Plume”, the legendary Grays & Feather wine bar nearby for treats, nibbles and your Georgian seduction lesson.
