Everyone across the globe is familiar with the iconic buildings, palaces, and monuments of London, but how much do you really know? And is what you know the truth …? Well, the reality is probably not!
Come with us on a journey of rediscovery in style; on an original London Transport, diesel-engined, 97 horsepower omnibus – AKA The Routemaster! Our historic, vintage vehicle will not only show you some great places, but we will also explore the myths and legends behind them; blowing away the cobwebs of history and laying the facts bare, which are often surprising … and frequently much more interesting!
We will show you a city that isn’t a city. A place of historic worship that is mis-named. Explain why Nelson’s Column isn’t! Some of the words and phrases familiar to us today have their origins in London. In fact, we even have our own language … cushty!
Then, what could be better than traditional pub fare. English pubs are famous worldwide, so come and join us. We think you’ll find it Quite Interesting!

- Meet outside the Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, 116 Piccadilly, W1J 7BJ
- Board the iconic Routemaster bus. We will allow 5-7 minutes for boarding.
- The Quizmaster & London-expert host will take you on a fascinating 1.5 to 2-hour tour as the driver weaves expertly through London’s traffic.
- Bus will return to the Piccadilly/Trafalgar Square area.
- Meal at a selected nearby London pub after the tour. 45 mins to 1 hour.

Meet at 2.00pm for your afternoon performance at St Paul’s Church in Covent Garden (on the Piazza).
From the meeting point at St Paul’s church in Covent Garden, the historical characters will take you around “The Square of Venus” in the local area.
The outdoor theatre section will last approximately 1.5 hours before settling in “Plume”, the legendary Grays & Feather wine bar nearby for treats, nibbles and your Georgian seduction lesson.
